Sweet Basil Culinary Center
Sweet Basil Gourmet Ware & Cooking School opened in 1993 at Shea and Scottsdale Roads in a small space that offered a Retail store with tools and equipment for cooking and entertaining. The School could accommodate 12 people for a cooking class. Five years later, Sweet Basil moved to a much larger space that could accommodate 14 students for hands-on classes and 26 students for demonstrations.
In 2021 Sweet Basil moved to the La Mirada Shopping Center at Pima and Pinnacle Peak Roads with the same goal of making the fun of cooking and entertaining come alive. With the move we’ve expanded our offering of products and variety of cooking class subjects. We invite you to stop into the store and discover an amazing variety of items for cooking, entertaining and gift giving! For fun and entertainment join us for classes in our state of the art kitchen and enjoy a hands-on or demonstration cooking experience that ends with a delicious meal of the foods prepared!
