As soon as Martie Sullivan moved Sweet Basil to a larger space she fulfilled another dream: cooking classes for Kids & Teens. And not just “kids-easy” dishes but the real deal. (See some upcoming classes below.) The TV cooking shows were gaining followers of all ages. Martie wanted to offer them a serious and fun environment with professional chefs teaching them to emulate their TV heroes.
Sweet Basil has classes for Kids & Teen scheduled throughout the year. In addition, we are well known for our Summer Cook Camps!! Classes are also scheduled on Saturdays during the school year and extra classes during vacation periods. Parent Kids & Teen classes are also popular. Check out some of our upcoming classes below.

MADE FOR DAD
If your child is 8 years old or older, this class offers an experience that is creative, fun and provides a sense of accomplishment creating a meal for Dad. We hope your child can join us for this lesson which teaches fundamental cooking techniques with a menu of Southern baked Macaroni and Cheese Pie with golden Breadcrumbs; Smash Burger Tacos; air fryer Honey Butter Garlic Chicken Tenders with hot Honey Butter Dip; Spaghetti Carbonara with Bacon and Parmesan Cheese; Pepperoni Pizza Pastry Twists with Ranch Dip & Carrot Sticks, and soft M&M Cookie Bars.

Show Dad how much you love and appreciate him with a cooking class. Sign up and cook together or learn this menu you can make for him on Father’s Day! KIDS COOKING CAMP – JUNE 22 THRU JUNE 26Series
If your child is interested in cooking and is aged 8 -12, this week-long series will teach cooking skills & methods, measuring, chopping safety and how to follow a recipe. Each day a new fun topic is introduced. Sign them up for a fun week of cooking and learning valuable life lessons. This series begins with:
MONDAY – Breakfast - homemade fluffy Biscuits with Whipped Honey Butter; Buttermilk Waffles with Syrup, fresh Berries & sweet Yogurt Sauce; crispy shredded Potato Pancakes with Sour Cream and Applesauce; Bacon, Egg, and Cheese breakfast Puff Pastry Cups; Blueberry Surprise Muffins; Cinnamon French Toast slices with Syrup, and Mini Chocolate Chip Muffins.
TUESDAY - Lunchtime: Parmesan crusted grilled Cheese on Sourdough; Mac and Cheese Muffins with Breadcrumbs; Puffy Taco Pockets; air fryer crispy Chicken Tenders drizzled with hot Honey; Pepperoni Pizza Dip with baked Pita wedges; mini–Corn Dog Muffins, and Fruit Pizza with Sugar Cookie Crust.
