TEENS COOKING CAMP – JUNE 22 THRU 26
If you are a teen (aged 13 – 17) who likes to cook and wants to learn more, you will gain a good deal of knowledge in this week-long series. Each day we will focus on cooking methods, techniques, ingredients, recipe reading, knife skills and more. This valuable series provides life skills to cook for yourself and others. Hands-on classes introduce a new subject each day, and end with a meal of the foods prepared. Sign up to learn:
- MONDAY – Breakfast of Champions: Rice Krispie Waffles; Hong Kong-Style French Toast; Oatmeal Pancakes; Ham and Cheese Baked Omelet; Cheesy Potato Cups; Easy Cinnamon Rolls, and Apple Stuffed Croissants with Caramel Syrup.
- TUESDAY – Oodles of Noodles: Homemade Pasta with Tomato Pesto; Sheet Pan Gnocchi with Sausage and Broccoli; Creamy Pasta with Lemon-Pepper Chicken; Pasta with Garlic Oil, Parsley, and Parmesan; Chinese Long Life Noodles; Mexican Macaroni and Cheese, and Peanut-Sesame Udon Noodles with Scallions.
- WEDNESDAY – Cooking Around the World: Cheese-Crisped Pinto Bean Quesadillas; Shrimp and Cheese Tacos (Tacos Gobernador); Mediterranean Zucchini Pancakes; Easy Chicken Tacos; Korean BBQ Meatballs; Japanese Chicken Teriyaki, and Cold Soba Noodle Salad with Peanut Sauce.
- THURSDAY – Pizza and Salad: Peking Chicken Pizza; Chicken Tikka Pizza; French Bread Pizza Margherita; Pizza Salad; Taco Salad; Cheesy Breadsticks, and Pizza Dip.
- FRIDAY – Sweet Treats: One Bowl Lemon Olive Oil Cake; Cookie Croissant; Skillet Brownie; Banoffee Pie; Sugared Shortbread; S’mores Bars, and Fresias con Crema (Strawberries and Cream).
